Sell Us Your Scrap!!!

How we buy your scrap

When you come to our shop please be prepared to bring your material to our scales. We purchase all materials based on weight. We have tools to help you to bring the material to the scale including hand trucks and forklifts.

Our experts will identify and weigh your material and will pay you for your material on the spot. (State Laws limit some cash payments.)

Scrapping Guide

When you visit our shop, we want your experience to be an easy and enjoyable experience. To help your visit to our shop go smoothly spending a few minutes preparing for your visit will go a long way.

  1. Test your metal with a magnet to know if it is iron. If you have a fridge magnet touch that to your metal. If the magnet sticks it is iron, but if the magnet does not stick it is something other than iron, it can be stainless steel or aluminum.
  2. To maximize the money you can make, clean your metal. This does not mean to take soap and water and clean the metal. The difference between clean and dirty metal is if it has other types of metal or non metal attached to it. A piece of brass with iron handles is dirty brass, but removing the iron handles and screws will make it clean brass. A piece of aluminum with plastic weather stripping and iron screws is dirty aluminum. If you are unable to clean your metal we will still purchase the material, but at a dirty price.
  3. To decrease the time in our shop having your materials generally separated will help. For example, if all of your iron is together, all of your brass is together, etc. we will be able to take your product in and weigh it up quicker.

When you arrive at our shop, please pull along the front outside of our fence. Please be sure to have your identification ready as you be asked for this before selling us your material (Florida State Statues 538.19).
